Use the below code to get the list of running apps,

this.getSystemService( ACTIVITY_SERVICE );
List<RunningAppProcessInfo> procInfos = actvityManager.getRunningAppProcesses();
for(RunningAppProcessInfo info : procInfos){
Log.i("Running",info.processName);
